Edit your own user profile

Motifray users can edit their own personal profile

In the right end of the top menu bar click the user icon (the box with your initials). The drop-down user menu will appear.
Select the My Profile item in the drop down menu. The Edit profile form will appear.
Update your data as needed and click Save to confirm changes.

02. Change your password

Change a user’s password

Motifray users can change their current password when they are login to the workspace

In the right end of the top menu bar click the user icon (the box with your initials). The drop-down user menu will appear
Select the Change Password item in the drop down menu. The Change My Password window will appear.
Type in your current password and then type in your new password in the New Password and Re-enter New Password fields.
Click the Change Password button to confirm.

Note: The password must be at least 8 characters long, contain letters, numbers and special characters.

03. Update your personal portfolio

You can publish any work in your personal portfolio. The personal portfolio doesn't have to be directly related to the projects you have done for your current organization. You can and should build your personal portfolio out of all the works that define you as creators and you are proud of. It's the perfect place to showcase your unique skills and talent.

View your current personal portfolio

In the right end of the top menu bar click the user icon. The drop down user menu will be opened.
Select the Personal Portfolio item in the drop down menu. Your current portfolio view will appear. If it is empty, it means that you have not built your personal portfolio yet. In this case, it’s the right time to do it.

Add files to your personal portfolio

You can add to your personal portfolio files which are located in the My Library section. Before adding files to your personal portfolio you should upload all your works (that you want to add to the portfolio) to the My Library folder.

Go to your current personal portfolio view as described in the section View your current personal portfolio. Your current portfolio view will appear.
In the right part of the top bar find the Add files button and click it. The Add files to portfolio window will appear.
Browse through your My Library files and select all the files you want to add to the personal portfolio. (Press Control/Cmd key on your keyboard to select multiple files.)
When ready, click Add files to confirm.

Tip! When browsing My Library you can select multiple files by pressing the Control key (Cmd on Mac)

Note! You can add to your personal portfolio only files you own and that are located in the My Library section. You cannot add to the personal portfolio files which have been shared with you.

Remove files from your personal portfolio

You can remove files from your personal portfolio anytime you want to.

Go to your current personal portfolio view as described in the section View your current personal portfolio. Your current portfolio view will appear.
Find the file you want to remove from the portfolio and click (once) the file card (if you are in the cards view) or the files row (if you are in the table view). The file (card or row) will be selected.
Find the context menu icon

located in the top right corner of the file tile (if you are in the tiles view) or the far right of the file row (if you are in the table view) and click it. The drop-down context menu will appear.
Select the Remove from portfolio option. The Remove file from portfolio confirmation window will appear.
Click Remove to confirm.
Repeat the operation for all files you want to remove from your personal portfolio.

Note! Removing a file from the personal portfolio doesn't remove the physical file from its original location in the My Library section. By removing a file from the portfolio you only remove the link between the portfolio and the original file, but the physical copy of the file remains intact at its location.

04. Reset forgotten password

If you forgot the password, read on for steps to reset it and get back in to Motifray.

Note! To reset the password you'll need access to the email inbox associated with your Motifray account.

Password reset

Go to motifray.com and find the Sign In button in the top navigation menu. Click the button to go to the Motifray login page. The Sing in to Motifray form will appear.
Locate Forgot password? link and click it. The Forgot your password? form will appear.
Type in the email address associated with your Motifray account and click Request new password button to request pasword reset. The email message with further instructions will be send to you.
Login to the email inbox you have typed in and find the password reset request message. The message will contain the link to reset your password.
Click the password reset link in the email message. The Enter new password form will appear.
Enter your new password in the New password and Re-type new password fileds and click the Reset button to confirm. Your new Motifray password is set.

05. Sign out of Motifray

To sign out of the workspace.

In the right end of the top menu bar click the user icon (the box with your initials). The drop down user will be opened.
Select the Sign out item in the drop down menu. You will be signed out and Motifray login form will appear.
