01. Team in your organisation

A Team in Motifray is a group of users working in the same organization as you (your co-workers). Team members are assigned to customer accounts (becoming an account team members) and to individual projects (becoming project team members). There are two roles defined in Motifray: regular user and Motif manager.

Regular user

Regular users have access to the clients and projects which they are team members of.

Regular users can perform regular customer and project related tasks. They can:

create new customers and/or join existing customer account teams.
created customer projects and/or join existing project teams
actively work on projects they are team members of (ie. create and upload project work, create collections, share collections with clients, comment on existing project works).

Motifray Manager

Motif manager has got additional privileges on top of regular user permissions. They can:

Invite a new user to your organization Motifray workspace and remove existing users
Change other users’ role and status
Update subscription plan and payment method
Access billing details of the Motifray subscription

Motifray Managers have access to all clients and projects of your organization workspace.

02. Motifray users list

Who can view a team members list?

All Motifray users have access to the list of other users’ profiles registered with the organization (co-workers).

Go to the Team tab in the top level menu.
The list of current Motifray users in your organization will appear.

Each tile (or row in the table view) represents an individual user (co-worker) in your organization. Basic information about the user profile (Name, email address, phone number, projects’ assignment) is presented on the user card (or row in the table view).

03. View a user profile

Who can view a user profile?

All Motifray users can view an individual profile (co-worker) in the organization.

View an individual user profile

Go to the Team tab in the top level menu.
Find the user you want to view a profile of and double click the selected user tile (or the row in the table view). The user profile view will appear.
Ensure that the User Profile tab is selected in the second level menu below the user name section. If not, click it. The User Profile view will appear.

On the left side of the view you will find profile information of the selected Motifray user in your organization.
In the central panel you will find two tabs with user’s Project Works and Personal Portfolio.

View an individual users project works

The Project Works tab shows works (project outcomes) the select user created during their engagements in customer projects.

Note! When you double click on any image in the Project Works view the image viewer will open and let you preview the user’s works placed in there.

View an individual users personal portfolio

Users can publish any work in their personal portfolio. The doesnt have to be directly related to the projects they have done for your organization. Users can and should build their personal portfolio out of all the works that define them as creators and they are proud of. It's the perfect place to showcase user’s unique skills and talent.

To view the personal portfolio of the individual user click the Personal Portfolio tab.

Note! When you double click on any image in the Personal Portfolio the image viewer will open and let you preview the user’s works placed in there.

Tip! Instant and easy access to users’ personal portfolio is a great asset which helps organizations to better understand their talent pool, optimize customer accounts alignment and allocate the right talents to the right projects.

04. User’s assignment to customer accounts

User’s customer accounts view shows all customers the user is an account team member of.

Who can view a user’s customer accounts list?

All Motifray users can view a customer account list of other users (co-worker) in the organization.

View user’s customer accounts

Go to the Team tab in the top level menu.
Find a user you want to view the customer accounts for and double click the selected user card (or the row in the table view). The user profile view will appear
Select the Customer Accounts tab in the second level menu. The customer accounts list will appear.

Note! The customer accounts list will only include the customers that you, yourself are an account team member of.

Tip! Instant and easy access to customer accounts lists of individual users helps managers to better understand the current team allocation and optimize it when needed.

05. User’s projects assignment

User’s projects assignment view shows all projects (active and closed) the user is a project team member of.

Who can view a user’s assigned projects?

All Motifray users can view other users (co-workers) assigned projects in the organization.

View assigned projects of an individual user

Go to the Team tab in the top level menu.
Find a user you want to view assigned projects for and double click the selected user tile (or the row in the table view). The user profile view will appear.
Click the Active Projects or Closed Projects tab in the second level menu to view the list of projects the user is a team member of (active or closed projects respectively).

In the Active Projects tab, all active projects the user is currently engaged in as a project team member are listed. In the Closed Projects tab, all closed projects the user was engaged in as a project team member are listed.

Tip! In this view, you can go directly to the project page by double-clicking the tile (or row) of the selected project. By visiting the project page you can find more details about the user's involvement and contribution to the project.

Tip! Easy access to user-assigned projects helps managers evaluate the current talent pool allocation and workload balance when necessary.

Note! The active/closed project list will only include projects that you, yourself are a project team member of.
